Due to a changing country he and his family moved to the United States. </B></p><p></p><p><B>At the age of eleven his parents enrolled him into an adult art school, a short time after he was dismissed for disrupting the classes, saying that the teacher placed more emphasis on tracing and not enough on developing skills of drawing and sketching. This short coming did not discourage his enthusiam for art. Every angle of manipulation to the canvas has been self taught. </B></p><p></p><p><B>Nicholae works with an innate and purposeful passion, completing one piece at a time, his works range in size from 3 x 5 inches to 14 x 30 foot murals. </B></p></p><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/Intro"><h1>Intro</h1><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/329b1577525fdab1ef0239f3a622830063aa0b06.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/gallery"><h3>gallery 1</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/c0798beda4754d3b1e349e4d18fbe729e88a6675.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/bio"><h3>bio</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/5b7e46b62e50c5ef7b79a2074354dcdfb3a3c2c3.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/gallery-2"><h3>gallery 2</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/7b6af35f732374c2ebcdec58546a5469b097f2e4.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/events"><h3>events</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/895d650a8c36e14afba38220bf0fe44cc0eaa4e4.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/contact"><h3>contact</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/69430577b19098dbfdfcdf1ffaddf1d4abe9745b.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <a href="http://www.nicholae.com/comments"><h3>comments</h3><img src="http://static.wix.com/media/c67f2445a63dbf87f1b6ccb58c603ce3b9f4859c.wix_doc_ico"></a><br> <br> <p><p>Exhibitions: 1996 Christopher Reeve accepts a painting from Nicholae. 1996 First place Pasco Promising Picasso, 1997 First place Pasco Promising Picasso, 2000 Second place Promising Picasso, 2001 The Society for a Confluence based Community states in a letter to N.P.R City Hall " we were moved and impressed by Nicholae's artwork", 2006 Brooksville City Hall Exhibit, 2007 Private Art Show hosted by Tony & Rose Agnelli, 2008 Square One Go Art Show, 2008 Merit award by Hernando County Fine Arts. 2009 Square One La Di Da Art Show.</p></p><br> <p><p>Influence: My father, my brother, (the masters) Michelangelo and Rembrandt, (post modern) Adolphe- William Bouguereau, (modern) Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and James Mathewuse</p></p>
